Actor Chris Pratt, known for his roles in "Parks and Recreation" and other blockbuster movies, has once again stood firm in his Christian beliefs despite facing criticism from some quarters.

Pratt acknowledged the backlash he's received for being outspoken about his faith."I sure do, but that's nothing new, you know?" Pratt remarked, displaying resilience in the face of criticism.

Referencing John 15:18 through 20, Pratt reflected on the age-old tension between religious conviction and societal acceptance. His journey to Christianity began as a teenager in Maui, where a chance encounter with a stranger led him to embrace his faith.

Pratt shared the story of how he gave his soul to Jesus within days of that encounter, just weeks before his acting career took off. Despite his deep faith, Pratt has been surprised by the attention his religious views have garnered.

Pratt has clarified in the past that while he considers himself "not a religious person," he remains committed to his beliefs.

He draws a distinction between genuine faith and the misuse of religion for control and exploitation. Yet, despite the controversies and threats of being "canceled," Pratt remains steadfast in defending his religious convictions.
